Enable USB Debugging

If your device is Android version 10 or higher. (The RS35 OS is Android version 10) Enabling USB Debugging can correct InstaCaliper head connectivity issues. The problem most commonly occurs after closing and restarting the app. The app will remain disconnected from the head and require a power cycle to reconnection.

  1. Go to "Settings", then tap "About phone".
  2. Scroll down, then tap "Build number" seven times.
  3. "Developer options" will appear in Settings >> System >> Advanced.
  4. Enable "USB debugging".
