When using the TallyTrak app with InstaCaliper, you may get a "Disconnected" warning on the app screen. There can be several reasons for this warning:

  1. The micro USB has disconnected from the ruggedized handheld computer (RHC).
    1. Solution: Reconnect the micro USB to the RHC.
    2. Wait 10 seconds.
  2. The micro USB has disconnected from InstaCaliper (the caliper head).
    1. Solution: Loosen the gland seal nut connected to the caliper head.
    2. Remove coresponding caliper head cover.
    3. Reconnect the micro USB to the caliper head.
    4. Tighten the gland seal nut.
    5. Replace the caliper head cover.
