You may import "List Items" using a *.CSV file. However, "List Items" are restricted to 64 characters. "LIst Items" longer than 64 characters will not be imported.
Use Excel formulas to reduce the number of characters in a cell.
Use the following Excel formula to reduce the number of characters of a "List Item."
In one column, you will have names that are too long. In this case, the full names are in column B.
In an empty column, type =LEFT([cell number], [number of characters]). This will reduce the number of characters to the appropriate quantity.
Formula: =LEFT(B1, 32)
Once you have reduced names to 64 characters, save the file as a *.CSV file to import it into the Web Portal.
