Import Task Events From SD Card Via Admin

In the event your handheld computer is damaged, 2nd Sight provided handheld computers are equipped with SD card database backups. On most devices the SD card can be found behind the battery. 

Important Notes:

• The “ftid” must match the Unit ID on your web portal. The “ftid” is the same as the Unit ID, which must be registered before uploading.
• If you open the database Excel the “ftid” and “badge” can be converted to the number, with number of decimal places. To prevent upload failure, convert the “ftid” and “badge” columns to number format (no decimal) before saving as CSV.
• Uploading the entire backup will only upload the data missing from your site. Comparing data can take a long time to process. We recommend only uploading the missing data.
• The Task associated with the event must be active. Lists will upload even if not currently attached to the Task. List Items will upload even if not currently in the List.

Emailing the Backup Database to 2nd Sight support:

1. Open to the App Drawer.              
2. Select “File Manager”.  
3. Press the 3 lines at top/left of screen
4. choses “SD card”.              
5. Select “Android”.            
6. Select “data”.    
7. Select the app (fairtrak, fairpick, instacaliper, tallytrak, stocktrak, quickpick, etc)
8. Select “files”.      
9. Select “Backup”
10. Select “QuickPick”
11. Press and hold “Current.db”.
12. Select “Send”
13. Select “Gmail"
