Calibrating Mettler Toledo Scale

Calibration

IMPORTANT: The instructions below are intended for a quick reference. Please see Mettler Toledo User Manual for offical instructions, including NTEP requirements.

1. Home > Setup > Scale then press ENTER.
2. Select Pounds then press ENTER.
3. Scroll to the desired weight (50lb) and press ENTER to return to the CalWgt screen.
4. Scroll to the Calibration and press ENTER to start the calibration sequence.
5. The scale will request Start Calibration, please Empty scale, then Press ENTER.
6. The scale will request to Put Load, then Press ENTER.
7. The calibration weight value is shown at lower left of this screen. The scale will capture span.
8. The scale will request Empty Scale again, and then Press ENTER. Remove weight from the scale platter and press ENTER.
9. The scale will display a status message – Calibration was OK.
10. The scale will count down a few seconds and then reboot to save the calibration parameters.

Note: When the scale powers back up, check the accuracy of the scale. Verify zero and span using test weights. Place the test weight at multiple locations on the platter.
