There are two reasons an employee's badge will be unassigned:

  1. The employee's badge was not properly programmed using the Registration Station and was not linked to the employee. You can use the Web Portal and/or the Registration Station to confirm that the employee was assigned to the badge.   2. An employee is using an old badge that has been overwritten by a new badge. Employees can only have ONE badge at a time. See Assign New Badge Number to Employee on the Web Portal.
